Steps for making Heart-shaped Cake Roll
Prepare ingredients
Separate egg whites and yolks
Mix egg yolks with oil and milk until there are no oil droplets
Sift in flour
Mix until the egg yolk mixture is smooth and without lumps, set aside
Add sugar to egg whites in three portions, use an electric egg beater to beat at 4-5 speed for 7-8 minutes, until the egg whites reach the stiff peak stage, and the egg beater can be lifted up with a downward triangle shape and is firm
Spoon a spoonful of egg white foam into the bowl of egg yolk mixture
Mix well (using a cutting motion or folding motion), do not stir in a circular motion
Pour the mixed cake batter back into the remaining egg white foam
Mix well
Scoop out 30g of cake batter, add a little red yeast rice powder to get red cake batter
Use a piping bag to draw a heart shape
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, bake for 5 minutes to set the heart shape
The baked little hearts
Pour the remaining cake batter onto the baking tray with the small hearts (forgot to take a picture of this step), smooth it out, and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes
After the cake cools, use a small knife to lightly score a few lines on the cake (do not cut it off)
Spread condensed milk on top
Add dragon fruit pieces
Roll up, seal, and refrigerate for an hour to set
