Detailed Steps for Cooking Herbal Chicken Soup with American Ginseng
Wash the American ginseng with water and soak it for a few hours until it becomes soft. Wash the dendrobium and soak it in water as well.
Put all the ingredients, including the pork bones, into a stew pot. Pour in the water used to soak the American ginseng and dendrobium. Add an appropriate amount of boiling water.
After adding enough water, you can choose the cooking time. Don’t think that the longer you stew, the better it will be. Because the pork bones are taken out of the refrigerator, even if you add boiling water, it will take some time for the soup to boil. Therefore, I choose to stew for 5 hours.
