Detailed Steps for Making Homemade Bread Crumbs
Prepare the ingredients and quantities. If you want the bread crumbs to be slightly yellow, add an extra egg yolk, but it’s optional.
Put all the ingredients into the bread machine and start the standard bread program.
After two hours, take out the bread and let it cool. Since low-gluten flour and less sugar are used, the fermentation may not be optimal. If you want to make bread for eating, refer to my other bread recipes.
Cut the bread into slices.
Tear the bread into pieces and place them in a baking pan.
Place the bread crumbs in a preheated oven on the lower rack, bake at 150°C with both top and bottom heat for 20 minutes.
Bake until the bread crumbs are slightly golden, then remove and let them cool.
Use your hands or a rolling pin to crush the bread into crumbs.
Use these crumbs to coat food for frying. Keep some larger crumbs for better texture.
