Detailed Steps for Making Homemade Pork Floss Rice Balls
Cut the pork tenderloin into large pieces.
Boil the pork in a pot of cold water with plenty of ginger slices (about ten minutes after the water boils).
Let it cool and shred the pork.
Put the shredded pork in a bread maker and add soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and sugar.
Press the pork floss button and wait.
After 80 minutes, it’s ready!
Taste it, if not sweet enough, add sugar while it’s hot and mix well.
Prepare cooked rice.
Add chopped carrots (blanched for better texture).
Add chopped spinach.
Add the freshly made pork floss.
Also add some chopped seaweed and mix well.
Wear gloves and shape the rice balls as desired. I made mine in the shape of Minions. Wrap a strip of seaweed around the rice balls.
Done! Enjoy. Store any leftovers in a sealed bag in the refrigerator.
