Steps to Cook Hometown Sugar Cake
Put flour in a large container, boil milk on the stove (use boiling water if not using milk).
Pour the milk evenly onto the flour while stirring. One bag of milk and one bowl of flour is the right amount.
Use oil on your hands to knead the dough until it forms a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and let it sit for an hour.
The dough is very sticky, so use oil on your hands. Divide the dough into six equal parts, flatten one in your hand and make a small indentation, then add half a tablespoon of sugar.
Wrap it up and pinch the edges tightly like making dumplings, making sure the sugar is not exposed.
Heat oil to 70% and fry until golden brown over medium heat.
