Detailed Steps for Cooking Honey Glazed Baked Tofu
Prepare all the ingredients.
Cut the tofu into long strips.
Heat a wok with a little oil, add sweet bean sauce and oyster sauce, stir-fry until cooked. (The amount of sweet bean sauce and oyster sauce depends on the amount of tofu, just coat the tofu evenly.)
Add the cut tofu into the cooked sauce, stir-fry evenly, then add a few drops of Maggi seasoning sauce and Lee Kum Kee sauce. (The sauce itself is salty so no need to add salt, or add a little salt according to personal taste.)
If you like it spicy, you can add some chili powder and a little chicken wing seasoning, stir-fry evenly, then turn off the heat for better flavor.
Line a baking tray with aluminum foil, place the tofu coated with sauce on the tray.
Place in the oven, bake at 200 degrees Celsius with both top and bottom heat, flip every 20 minutes until the tofu hardens. (I bake for 3 rounds of 20 minutes each, adjust based on your oven.)
Once baked, the tofu is ready to eat.
Store the baked tofu in a snack box in the refrigerator for anytime snacking, or enjoy it with friends while out, healthy and delicious.
