Detailed Steps for Making Cake in a Rice Cooker
Wash and dry the container used for beating the eggs, making sure there is no water left.
Separate the egg yolks and egg whites (the egg whites must not contain any egg yolks).
Add a little salt and a tablespoon of sugar to the egg whites and continue to beat in one direction with an egg beater.
Add another tablespoon of sugar when the egg whites reach this state and continue to beat until it becomes creamy.
Continue to beat until the egg beater or chopsticks can stand up in the bowl and the container can be inverted without the egg whites falling out.
In another container, mix 4 tablespoons of flour, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 12 tablespoons of milk, and the 4 separated egg yolks.
Mix well and add the beaten egg whites in two portions. Stir up and down, not in circles, so as not to break the stiff foam.
Preheat the rice cooker and dry the moisture. Add a layer of oil to the bottom and pour in the mixed batter. Cover the lid and press the cooking button. It will jump after about 2 minutes. Block the vent with a towel and let it sit for 20 minutes. Press the cooking button again and let it sit for another 20 minutes. The cake is ready.
Turn the cake over onto a plate and it’s ready to serve. You can add your favorite fruits to make it even more delicious.
