Detailed Steps for Making Iced Kudzu Root Starch Jelly
Pour the wild kudzu root starch into a bowl (amount according to personal preference), here I use one bag for one serving.
Add a little cold water and mix well, just enough to wet all the starch without clumping. Stir into a liquid form.
Pour boiling hot water into the bowl immediately, the hotter the better for solidification.
Stir with chopsticks until well mixed, at this point the kudzu root starch should have turned into a transparent paste.
Place the bowl in a container with some tap water to cool it down, then chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Remove from the refrigerator, cut into small pieces with a knife, can also be cut into strips.
In another bowl, mix a spoonful of honey water with cold water. (I also chilled the cold water beforehand)
Pour the cold honey water over the kudzu root starch jelly, mix slightly. The crystal-clear Iced Kudzu Root Starch Jelly is ready!
