Iced Sugar Yangmei Bitter Gourd Cooking Steps
I bought four kilograms of yangmei and four kilograms of bitter gourd.
Wash and dry the bitter gourd and yangmei, and cut the bitter gourd into small pieces.
Put the yangmei in the wok first, without adding any water, add 3 grams of salt, and simmer over low heat until the yangmei juice comes out slowly.
A lot of yangmei juice will come out in fifteen minutes.
Add the bitter gourd and stir-fry evenly.
Add the iced sugar twice, mainly because the wok was too full. Actually, a smaller wok can be used. Add 2.5 kg of iced sugar.
After adding the iced sugar for half an hour, it looks like this.
Simmer for another hour to slowly reduce the juice. Be sure to stir frequently to prevent the sweet substance from sticking to the wok and burning.
