Steps to make Italian Almond Biscuits
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes; put the almonds in a baking tray, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and bake in the oven for 10 minutes, turning once halfway through.
Mix almond flour, flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt in a pan and mix well.
Add egg yolks in batches and mix well.
Add vanilla extract and mix well.
Pour in fresh milk slowly and use your hands to shape the mixture into a dough.
Add cooled almonds to the dough and mix well.
Divide the dough into two pieces and knead them into an arch shape, then brush the surface with egg yolk liquid.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, and bake on the middle layer for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let it cool until there is residual heat, then cut it into small pieces and arrange them in a baking tray.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for about 10 minutes. (Turn the almond biscuits over once during baking to make the color and taste more crispy and consistent.)
