Detailed Steps for Cooking Kunbo Clay Pot Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Choose sweet potatoes of uniform size, wash and dry them, try to keep the skin intact. The newly acquired Kunbo food-grade clay pot can be used to roast sweet potatoes after wiping it with a dry towel.
Find a grill that is slightly smaller than the pot mouth, prepare two pieces of aluminum foil of sufficient size, place the foil under the grill, and wrap it up along the edge of the grill to form a circular shape (if the foil is thin, you can add more layers).
Place the grill in the Kunbo food-grade clay pot.
Place the folded aluminum foil on top of the grill, press it against the pot body, and fold the excess foil outwards over the pot (if large enough, it can be placed under the grill).
Place another piece of foil vertically across the first one, following the same method.
Arrange the clean sweet potatoes evenly on the foil.
Cover the clay pot and prepare for baking. (The foil raised above the pot mouth helps to release excess steam from the pot)
Bake on high heat for about 30 minutes (adjust time for smaller sweet potatoes)
Reduce the heat to the lowest setting, uncover, and flip the sweet potatoes using tongs. (Remember to wear heat-resistant gloves when flipping to avoid burns)
Continue baking on medium-low heat for 20 minutes, then let it sit for 12 minutes. Check if the sweet potatoes are cooked through by poking them with a chopstick.
The finished product is healthy, delicious, soft, and sweet.
Irresistible, with a hint of caramelized sugar and crispy skin.
