Steps to Make Lap Cheong Claypot Rice (Rice Cooker Version)
Prepare the ingredients.
Rinse the rice, add water, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, and soak for 1 hour.
Slice the lap cheong and char siu, and prepare the sauce (soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and a little water).
Start cooking the rice in the rice cooker.
When the rice is almost done, add the lap cheong and crack an egg into the rice. Continue cooking.
Blanch the spinach in boiling water.
When the rice is done, add the spinach on top of the rice.
Add the sauce and mix well.
Serve.
