Steps to Make Lemongrass Grilled Tilapia
Take a fresh tilapia, cut open from the back to remove the internal organs, wash the fish, pat dry, rub with cooking wine, salt, Chinese thirteen-spice powder, and ginger paste (marinate for 10 minutes), then coat with barbecue sauce (marinate for 10 minutes), sprinkle with cumin, stuff with cilantro and scallion paste, and insert lemongrass.
Blanch the lemongrass in boiling water until soft, then tie it around the fish.
Sprinkle chili powder on the fish, place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees, grill for 15 minutes, brush both sides of the fish with salad oil, flip and grill for another 15 minutes.
Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, the lemongrass adds a delightful flavor, very aromatic.
