Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions for Lotus Root, Sugarcane, Lamb, and Pork Rib Soup
Ingredients: 200g lamb leg with skin, 1 pork rib, 8 lotus roots, 150g sugarcane, ginger as needed, a pinch of salt, water as needed.
Rinse the lamb meat to remove blood, cut into large pieces,
Place in a pot, add a few slices of ginger and water,
Bring to a boil and continue to cook for a few minutes until the blood foam is removed,
Remove the lamb meat, discard the broth.
Place the lamb meat in a pressure cooker, add water separately,
Close the lid, place the pressure limiting valve, cook over high heat until pressure is reached, then continue to cook for about 20-30 minutes, turn off the heat, let it sit until the pressure is released.
Rinse the lotus roots, peel them, and set aside.
Peel the sugarcane, cut into small pieces, and set aside.
