Steps to Make Lotus Seed and Lily Chicken Soup
Half a chicken.
Cut into pieces.
Prepare soup ingredients: lotus seeds, lilies, Chinese yam, red dates, and goji berries.
Put all ingredients except goji berries into a soup pot.
Add water.
Bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for one hour, removing any impurities that rise to the surface several times during cooking.
