Steps to make Lucky Bag
Mix flour, water, and yeast powder into dough that is not sticky, ferment it, and I started the fermentation the night before and made it the next morning~
When it has a honeycomb-like texture, it is ready for use.
Take out and knead the dough to make it round.
Divide it into two sizes.
Add yellow pigment to the larger one and red pigment to the smaller one.
Knead evenly.
Divide the larger one into four sections.
Knead the dough into a round shape, flatten it, and put in the red bean paste filling.
Fold and pinch the edges together.
Take a little bit of the red and yellow dough, roll it into thin strips, the thinner the better, and tie it in a bow shape on the Lucky Bag.
Make all of them.
Like this.
Roll the red dough into thin slices, thinner is better, and cut them into small squares.
Stick them on the Lucky Bag with a little bit of water.
Ferment for about 30 minutes, until it is twice as big as before. Steam it over high heat for about 15 minutes, and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
Then use an edible pigment pen to write the word “福” on it.
The meaning of Lucky Bag is very good. I wish everyone a lucky and talented new year~
