Take flour⇨add yeast, sugar and mix well⇨prepare warm water and sprinkle on the back of your hand to evenly moisten the flour for better dough mixing (as shown in the picture).
Cover the kneaded dough to let it rise. Note: The rising time depends on the surrounding temperature. Typically, in winter, about 3-4 hours; in summer, about 2-2.5 hours.
After the dough has risen, add a little baking soda to make the dough fluffier and softer.
Divide the dough in half, flatten it, then add oil and salt.
Sprinkle some pudou er (a local seasoning for enhanced flavor, optional if not available).
Roll up the dough as shown in the picture, then cut into suitable sizes.
