Meiling Congee Cooking Steps
Red Dates, Chinese Yam, Glutinous Rice, Rice, Goji Berries
Soak Glutinous Rice and Rice for an hour
Soaking time for Glutinous Rice, Sweet Potato Oat Soy Milk from the soy milk maker
Peel and steam Chinese Yam, remove pits from Red Dates, wash Goji Berries and set aside
Put Glutinous Rice and Rice in a clay pot, add water and cook for half an hour until grains are cooked
Add soy milk and Red Dates, be careful as soy milk may overflow, when cooking, keep the pot lid open and stir frequently to prevent sticking, finally add Goji Berries and cook for 5 minutes
