Detailed Steps for Cooking Milk Swallow’s Nest
Take a piece of triangular dry swallow’s nest, weigh it, and it should be about 4.0g. The cost-effectiveness of triangular swallow’s nest is very high, suitable for personal consumption, and very affordable.
Soak in purified water for 4 hours. After soaking, it is about 36g, with a soaking rate of 9 times. It’s amazing! (It is best to use purified water or water purified by a water purifier, not tap water)
Tear the swallow’s nest along the grain, the finer the tear, the easier it is to clean.
Put the torn swallow’s nest on a strainer and rinse it under the tap. Rinse it 2-3 times like the picture. For those that cannot be cleaned, use tweezers to pick them out. (Our swallow’s nest has a good soaking and cleaning rate. After soaking, it is very clean after rinsing with a strainer. It is also very affordable. Come and bother me.)
Pour the swallow’s nest into a stewing cup. Because 80ml of milk needs to be added, only 1:25 purified water is added here. Then plug in the power and start stewing. The stewing time for an electric stewing pot is about 30 minutes. If the power is low (below 300W), the time will be longer.
The swallow’s nest is almost ready. Unplug the power, open the lid as shown in the picture, and the swallow’s nest is already cooked, sticky and full. Then add rock sugar and milk, cover the lid and let it sit for a while, then stir with chopsticks and pour it out.
That’s it, a bowl of fragrant milk swallow’s nest is ready, paired with rock sugar, it is fragrant and sweet, and children will love it. Try it now. Also, if you have any questions about swallow’s nest, come and find me.
