Detailed Steps for Cooking Minced Pork Tofu
Cut the tofu into small pieces and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.
Coat the tofu evenly with dry flour, shaking off the excess.
Fry the tofu in oil at 180 degrees Celsius (or until golden brown if using a gas stove), then set aside.
The fried tofu should be golden brown.
Finely chop the scallions and ginger, and cut the garlic sprouts into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped scallions and ginger, and stir-fry over medium heat until fragrant.
Add the minced pork to the pan and stir-fry.
Once the garlic sprouts change color, add the cooking wine.
Add dark soy sauce, sugar, and salt to the pan, stir well, then add water (add more if you prefer a more soupy dish).
Add the fried tofu pieces and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add chicken essence, a little cornstarch, and a dash of sesame oil before serving.
