Steps to Cook Niu Zha Small Biscuits
Prepare in advance.
Preheat Qifeng biscuits in the oven in advance.
Melt butter in a non-stick pan over low heat.
Pour in marshmallows and stir slowly over low heat (cutting large marshmallows in half shortens the melting time).
Completely melt the marshmallows (in cold weather, the sugar may harden quickly, so the shorter the cooking time, the better).
Immediately add milk powder after removing from heat (I moved the pan from the stove to the countertop as the stove retains heat).
The mixture after stirring (you can add cranberries or dried fruits at this point).
When the sugar is soft and hot, use a small spoon to scoop the Niu Zha sugar filling onto a small biscuit; wear PVC gloves if the filling is too hot to handle.
Press another biscuit on top.
Quickly complete the filling action.
I added a relatively large amount of filling.
Do not heat the filling for too long, or it will become harder as it cools.
