Detailed Steps for Cooking Northeastern BBQ Skewers
Cut 150g pork into small pieces. Dissolve 6g Northeastern BBQ seasoning in warm water, add pork, half a red shallot minced, 1 tsp cooking oil, 1 tsp beaten egg, a pinch of white sugar, a drop of sesame oil, mix well, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour and a half.
Thread onto skewers (pretend I have skewers) and place on a grill rack, brush with oil on the outside.
Use a Galanz microwave oven, select the combination of light waves two (30% microwave, 70% light waves), and grill for ten minutes. Flip the skewers upside down at the 6th minute, sprinkle cumin sesame chili powder on top at the 8th/9th minute. Ten minutes will result in a slightly overcooked skewer, reduce time if you prefer it tender.
After ten minutes, the skewers are cooked, place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil, and they are ready to serve.
