Detailed steps for cooking oil-free oat energy bars

1. Prepare the ingredients. Momozima added extra drops~

Put instant oats, walnuts, and black sesame seeds into a preheated oven and bake at 150 degrees for 10 minutes. Remember to turn them over once during the process to make the oats crispy and golden.

During the baking process, sift the whole wheat flour, add honey, milk, and hot water, and stir well.

Momozima’s honey is this solid snow honey, so she added hot water to melt it. If you have regular liquid honey, you can replace all the water with milk, and reduce the amount of water by about 10g. If you don’t have honey, you can use white sugar instead.

Chop the baked walnuts, and add the baked oats, walnuts, and sesame seeds to the whole wheat mixture along with the raisins. PS: You can choose other ingredients for the dried fruit according to your preference.

Stir well and knead with your hands until the oats are moist. Pour the mixture into a baking pan or mold.

Press firmly with your hands and use a rolling pin to press the edges vertically. Bake in the middle of the oven at 170 degrees for 30 minutes. The length of time depends on the thickness of the bars. If they are thin, reduce the time accordingly. PS: If you prefer a crispier texture, make them thinner.

Cut the oat bars when they are cool.

The more you chew, the more fragrant they become.
