Detailed Steps for Making Orleans Chicken Burger
Combine high-gluten flour, bamboo charcoal powder, egg, milk, yeast, salt, sugar, except butter, in a bread machine and knead until smooth. Then add butter and continue kneading. Let it rise (double in size).
Deflate the risen dough, divide into 4 portions, I made an extra small one for the baby. Let them rise again in the oven.
Mix instant oats and white sesame seeds. Spray water on the risen dough and sprinkle the oats and sesame seeds on top.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, bake on the middle rack for 18 minutes. Cut in half, top and bottom.
4 chicken thighs
Debone the chicken thighs, it’s quite easy with a sharp knife.
Poke holes in the chicken thighs. Make several holes for better flavor absorption.
Season the chicken thighs with Orleans marinade according to the instructions on the package. Marinate in the refrigerator for a day (preferably).
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, bake with the convection function for 15 minutes. If using top and bottom heat, flip halfway through.
Add your preferred toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salad dressing, etc., according to your taste.
Finished product
It’s quite delicious.
Made a mini version for the baby. It’s so tiny, served on her toy plate. Haha!
