Detailed Steps for Pan-fried Pork Chop
Wash the pork chops and use the back of a knife to tenderize both sides. This will make the meat more flavorful.
Mix pepper, salt, and soy sauce into a paste, and apply it to the pork chops. Mix well and marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. In the meantime, beat an egg, which is enough for 5 pork chops.
Take out the marinated pork chops and wash off the excess seasoning. Coat them with a thin layer of cornstarch, and then dip them into the beaten egg mixture to coat evenly.
Finally, coat the pork chops with breadcrumbs and pan-fry them.
The advantage of pan-frying is that it doesn’t waste too much oil. However, once one side is crispy, flip it over immediately to fry the other side. This way, both sides of the pork chop will have crispy breadcrumbs.
