Detailed steps for cooking Papaya Milk Pudding
Soak the Tremella in water and tear it into small pieces.
Put the torn Tremella into a pressure cooker, add water and rock sugar, and cook.
Boil on high heat, and after the pressure cooker has steamed for half an hour, turn off the heat. The Tremella should be soft and tender. This is a quick way to cook Tremella soup without using a slow cooker.
Cut half of the papaya into small pieces, removing the skin and seeds. Use the other half as a container.
Take a clean pudding cup and put the cut papaya pieces into it.
Pour in fresh milk, the amount is up to you. I used just enough to cover the papaya.
Put the soaked red dates into the cup.
Steam for about 20 minutes.
Take out the cooked Papaya Milk Pudding, pour it into the papaya container, and add the soft and tender Tremella on top. I didn’t add sugar to my milk and papaya because the Tremella soup cooked with rock sugar was already sweet enough.
