Steps for Cooking Pea and Oatmeal Porridge
Wash the oatmeal and peas, then put them in a pot with appropriate amount of water.
Pour the leftover rice into the pot and use chopsticks to break up the rice grains.
Bring to a boil over high heat and then simmer over low heat.
If the color is too plain, add some corn kernels and continue to simmer over low heat until thick and the color turns milky white (about 25 minutes).
This tempting bowl of porridge is ready to be eaten!
