Detailed Steps for Making Peach Pastry
Mix 60g oil, 50g sugar, and 10g egg in a large bowl.
Add 100g flour, baking powder, and baking soda to the bowl. Regular flour is fine.
Add crushed walnuts to the mixture. Roasting the walnuts at 150 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes beforehand will make them more fragrant.
Knead the dough. The dough should not be too dry.
Divide the dough into small balls of about 20g each.
Press the balls into small round cakes. Normally, 12 cakes can be made with 20g each. I made one tray with my baking pan.
Brush the surface with egg liquid. I used honey water for the second tray, which also works.
Bake at 150 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
I originally planned to make one tray, but it was so popular that I made two more trays. This time, I crushed the walnuts into powder and added them directly to the flour. Then I sprinkled crushed walnuts and sesame seeds on the surface of the cakes, which was also successful. I personally prefer the second method.
