Detailed Steps for Making Plum Cookies
Prepare ingredients: low-gluten flour, whole egg liquid, butter, powdered sugar, dried cranberries
Soften butter, mix with powdered sugar without whipping; add egg liquid + sifted flour + dried cranberries and mix well; shape the mixed dough into a rectangular shape using a mold, freeze in the refrigerator for an hour; cut the frozen dough into slices about 0.7cm thick, place on a baking sheet, and bake in a preheated oven at 165°C for about 20 minutes;
Bake with both top and bottom heat for about ten minutes until the bottom edges of the cookies turn golden, then turn off the bottom heat and continue baking for the remaining time;
When the top of the cookies turns golden brown, remove the baked cookies and let them cool on a rack
Other Notes: Dried cranberries can be replaced with raisins or other dried fruits; Butter should be softened and used without whipping; Leave enough space between the cookies on the baking sheet as they will expand during baking and need enough room.
Once the cookies have cooled, store them in a container, and your afternoon tea for this week is ready!️
