Pudding Powder

Pudding powder is made by using natural seaweed gelatin such as carrageenan and locust bean gum L.B.G as stabilizers (i.e. pudding stabilizers), and using sodium stearoyl lactylate SSL and monoglyceride T-95 as emulsifiers, then mixing with eggs, sugar, oil, and other ingredients with water.

Nutritional Value

Pudding powder is made from pure natural ingredients, rich in nutrients, and has a complete color, aroma, and taste. Based on the addition of 15% white sugar, the heat generated by each 15-gram pudding in the body is 8.93 kcal, while the daily energy supply for an average adult is about 2500 kcal. Therefore, the proportion of heat generated by pudding in the body is very low. The colloid of pudding is made by boiling and cooling a mixture of carrageenan and agar, with the addition of 0.8% to 1% of these two substances in jelly. Carrageenan is a seaweed, and agar is extracted from the polysaccharides of the Araceae plant. Both are natural plant polysaccharides that are safe and harmless. These two gums are water-soluble dietary fibers, which are very important and internationally recognized functional food materials. According to surveys, the intake of meat, protein, and fat in the diet of many urban residents in China far exceeds the national average and is close to the level of developed countries. This “high protein, high fat” dietary structure is prone to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, gastrointestinal discomfort, obesity, etc. The rich dietary fiber in pudding has a positive effect on preventing the above “modern civilization diseases”.
