Wash the purple sweet potatoes and peel them! PS: The skin of purple sweet potatoes may look good, but there might be black spots inside, so be sure to choose carefully. After peeling, check again, and do not use if there are rotten or black spots!
Cut the purple sweet potatoes into slices. PS: Considering the steaming time, it’s best to cut them into small cubes!
