Steps to Make Purple Sweet Potato Bread
Dough Ingredients: Bread Flour 75g, Whole Wheat Flour 25g, Granulated Sugar 5g, Salt 1/8 tsp, Dry Yeast 1/2 tsp, Purple Sweet Potato Puree 25g, Fresh Milk 55g, Butter 5g
Pour all dough ingredients except butter into a large bowl,
Knead into a uniform dough, add butter
Continue kneading until smooth and elastic
Place in a bowl for basic fermentation
Prepare Filling: Purple Sweet Potato Puree 75g, Powdered Sugar 8g, Butter 5g
Add powdered sugar and butter to hot purple sweet potato puree
Mix well
Divide into three equal parts, roll into balls, mix well
Dough fermentation complete
Deflate, divide into three equal parts, shape into rounds
Flatten, wrap with filling
Pinch to seal, place sealed side down, let rest for about 10 minutes
Shape into a disk about 8cm in diameter, continue to ferment for 20 minutes
Use a fork to press markings on the surface at even intervals, continue to ferment for 5 minutes
Bake in preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for about 18 minutes
