Prepare two purple sweet potatoes.
Peel the purple sweet potatoes.
Cut the purple sweet potatoes into thin slices.
Place the purple sweet potato slices in a plate. Boil water in a pot, then reduce heat to low and steam the sweet potato slices in the pot for 10 minutes.
Remove the steamed purple sweet potato slices, place them in a glass bowl, and mash them into a paste using a spoon.
Add 3 teaspoons of granulated sugar.
