Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions for QQ Candy Jelly Mousse
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients for making the cake. Cake flour, caster sugar, eggs, butter, milk.
Separate egg yolks and egg whites.
Combine egg yolks with 10g of caster sugar and mix well.
Sift in cake flour and mix well.
Combine butter and milk, microwave for 40 seconds until completely melted.
Pour into the egg mixture and mix well.
Gradually add caster sugar to egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.
The egg white mixture should not flow when the bowl is overturned.
Combine the egg white mixture with the egg yolk mixture and fold gently.
Pour into a mold.
Preheat the oven to 180°C for 5 minutes, then bake for 15 minutes.
Bake until the surface is golden brown and elastic. No need to invert, let it cool naturally before removing from the mold. Then cut into mousse shapes as desired.
Step 2: Prepare the ingredients for making the mousse: 100g QQ Candy, 280ml whipping cream, 20g condensed milk, 90ml hot water.
Dissolve QQ Candy in hot water, then microwave for 1 minute until completely dissolved.
Quickly cool on an ice pack.
Combine whipping cream and condensed milk, beat until 70% whipped.
Gradually add the cooled QQ Candy water to the whipped cream.
Stir until the mousse mixture is smooth and glossy.
Line the mold with aluminum foil.
Place the cut cake pieces in the mold.
Pour in the mousse mixture. Chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
Step 3: Prepare the ingredients for the jelly layer: 75g QQ Candy, 70ml hot water. Dissolve QQ Candy in hot water, then microwave for 1 minute until completely dissolved.
Quickly cool on an ice pack. (Strawberry-flavored QQ Candy is used this time for a more beautiful color.)
Remove the chilled mousse from the refrigerator.
Pour in the jelly water, then continue to chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Remove the chilled jelly mousse from the refrigerator, then carefully remove from the mold.
Finally, do a simple decoration, take a photo first, then enjoy. It’s incredibly delicious.
