Detailed Steps for Making Red Bean Flower Bread
Prepare the ingredients
Pour 250g high-gluten flour, 120g milk, 18g granulated sugar, 3g salt, and 4g yeast into the bread maker (yeast should be placed on top, not in contact with liquid, and salt). Start the dough program for about 20 minutes, then add the butter and continue kneading for another 20 minutes.
Take out the well-kneaded dough, shape it slightly, and place it in the oven to ferment (or you can ferment it in the bread maker).
Ferment until double in size, lightly dust your finger with flour and press it in the middle, if it doesn’t bounce back, it’s ready.
Take out the dough, deflate it, and roll it into a long strip.
Divide into 6 equal parts, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Take one piece of dough, roll it into a circle, and fill it with red bean paste.
Seal the edges and flatten slightly.
Then roll it into an oval shape, use a knife to make even cuts on the top layer, do not cut through.
Join the two ends together and pinch tightly.
Place on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and let it ferment for the second time, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, bake on the middle rack for 15 minutes, until soft and fragrant…
