Detailed Steps for Cooking Red Date and Mixed Grain Nutritious Porridge
Bought a variety of grains online, including rice, corn grits, black rice, black soybeans, yellow soybeans, brown rice, sorghum rice, barley rice, and oat rice. This mixed grain rice is quite convenient, as it has a fragrant smell as soon as you open it.
Take a cup of mixed grains, prepare 2 red dates (actually used 3), and a suitable amount of rock sugar. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference. In my family, we prefer it slightly sweet with a strong rice fragrance.
Rinse the mixed grains thoroughly, soak the red dates in advance, then wash and chop them after removing the pits.
Put all the ingredients into a blender. Blenders are very practical and affordable nowadays. They do not damage the nutrients of the ingredients and provide a smooth and lubricating texture.
Add a suitable amount of water, approximately 900ml, adjust according to the number of servings, and do not exceed 1400ml for a hot drink.
Close the lid tightly, turn on the blender, select the porridge function, and start. The blender will automatically finish the process. If you are having it for breakfast, you can prepare your breakfast while the porridge is being made, making it simple and convenient.
Remove the blender, open the lid carefully to avoid burns, and pour the porridge into a cup. Enjoy!
