Detailed Steps for Making Red Date Cake
Prepare Ingredients: 200g flour, 30g brown sugar, 8 red dates, 1g dry yeast.
Dissolve brown sugar powder in boiling water and let it cool, dissolve dry yeast in warm water.
Pour flour into a plate, then add the water with dry yeast, followed by the brown sugar water.
Stir the mixture with chopsticks in one direction until it becomes a batter;
Pour the well-mixed batter into a rectangular glass baking dish, cover and wait for fermentation;
During the fermentation time, wash the red dates, cut them into pieces, and remove the pits;
When the batter ferments to the top of the glass baking dish, evenly sprinkle the cut red dates on top of the fermented batter.
Place in a steamer oven, press the steam bake button, and it will be ready in 25 minutes.
After cooling to a touchable temperature, invert the cake, cut into pieces. You can use a knife to scrape around the edges of the glass baking dish for easy removal.
