Steps for Cooking Red Glutinous Rice Fish Meatballs
Wash the red glutinous rice and soak it in water for about 2 hours;
Drain the water from the soaked red glutinous rice and set aside; Wash the fish fillet, dry it, and prepare some ginger and scallions;
Chop the fish fillet, ginger, and scallions into fish meatballs;
Add some salt, cooking wine, pepper, oyster sauce, and starch to the fish meatballs;
Mix the fish meatballs and seasonings until the fish meat becomes sticky;
Divide the fish meat into evenly sized balls and wrap them with red glutinous rice;
Put the fish meatballs in a steamer, add cold water, and steam for 20 minutes after the water boils;
Take out the steamed fish meatballs, and sprinkle some chopped scallions on top.
