Detailed Steps for Rehydrated Dried Sea Cucumber
(1) Soak the dried sea cucumber in pure water for about 24-48 hours until it becomes soft. Change the water every 12 hours and avoid oil contamination. (It is recommended to keep the sea cucumber in the refrigerator at around 0 degrees Celsius).
(2) Cut open the belly of the sea cucumber with scissors and remove the sand mouth and teeth from the head.
(3) Put the sea cucumber in a clean pressure cooker without oil and cook for 5 to 10 minutes!
(4) Put the rehydrated sea cucumber in pure water and place it in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours before serving.
The sea cucumber will continue to expand in ice water at zero degrees Celsius, resulting in better texture and taste, fuller shape, and firmer meat. (During the soaking process, it is recommended to change the water 3-4 times).
