Steps to Make Rice and Cheese Pizza
Gather all the ingredients needed to make the pizza.
Steam the rice until cooked, and let it cool down to half a small bowl.
Chop the scallions into small pieces. It’s best to use purple scallions as they have a better taste, but if you don’t have them, yellow ones will do. Peel and dice the carrots, and thaw the frozen peas.
Cut the bacon into small pieces and set aside.
Take the 150g of dough that has been fermented and shape it into a pizza crust according to the size of your pizza pan. This is an 8-inch pan. You can use a drinking straw or fork to poke the bottom of the crust, but be careful not to poke through the pizza pan. Poking the crust is to prevent it from puffing up when heated.
Place the poked crust in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for about 8 minutes. Be careful as this step is very hot and can cause burns. Let the pizza crust cool for about 5 minutes.
Once the pizza crust has cooled down, brush tomato sauce on the surface.
On the tomato sauce, sprinkle the cooked rice, a small amount of cheese, and a spoonful of salt.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza. It’s time to bake the pizza. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes.
Set the oven to 170 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, with both top and bottom heat and the fan mode on. Place the pizza pan in the middle of the oven and close the oven door.
