Detailed Steps for Cooking Rice Cooker Chicken Thighs
Choose seasonings and sprinkle them on the chicken thighs. I originally used garlic powder for toasting bread, but it tastes great on chicken thighs, creating a flavorful garlic chicken dish.
Poke the chicken thighs with a fork, drizzle some cooking wine to remove any unwanted smell, add a bit of soy sauce, and sprinkle some salt if you prefer a saltier taste.
Marinate for 1 hour, lightly coat the bottom of the rice cooker with oil, pat dry the chicken thighs, place them in the rice cooker. I thought adding some mint from my balcony would enhance the flavor, but I didn’t notice much difference, so it’s optional. Remember not to use too much oil, or it might turn into a different dish.
Press the rice cooking button, when it switches off, flip the chicken thighs to the other side and press it down to cook again. Once it switches off again, it’s ready. Enjoy your meal with some snacks, I personally like to snack while watching TV. Originally, I planned to use rabbit legs, but the supermarket ran out of them. Actually, I’m not a fan of chicken.
