Detailed Steps for Making Roasted Bean Bread (Oven Version)
There was some dough left over from making three-color steamed buns, which was just enough to make roasted bean bread. (The dough should be slightly softer when fermented)
Add an appropriate amount of bean flour, mix with a little flour, and stir in scallion oil to make bean oil pastry.
Add an appropriate amount of turmeric powder, mix with a little flour, and stir in scallion flavored oil to make a thin turmeric oil pastry.
Take an appropriate amount of dough, deflate and knead into a ball. (I divided it into two batches)
Roll it into a thin sheet.
Sprinkle a thin layer of salt on top. (If you like it sweet, you can sprinkle some sugar.)
Spread a layer of bean oil pastry on top.
Sprinkle a little flour on top.
Roll it up from the inside out.
Seal it with the seam facing down.
Cut it into evenly sized pieces. Repeat the same steps with the other half of the dough.
Pour a little scallion oil on the bottom of an 8-inch baking pan (with a removable bottom).
Spread it evenly.
Arrange the dough pieces in the pan (the flower in the middle is cut from the ends, and although the shape is not very pretty, there was no more dough left, so I had to arrange it this way). The number of dough pieces depends on the size of the pan.
Brush a thin layer of turmeric oil pastry on top.
Let it rise in a warm place for the second time. When it is fully risen, it looks like a beautiful flower.
Brush another thin layer of turmeric oil pastry on top. When it is baked later, it will not be too dry and will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Preheat the oven, first set the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius for the upper heat and 230 degrees Celsius for the lower heat, and bake for 10 minutes to prevent burning. Then adjust the temperature to 160 degrees Celsius for the upper heat and 180 degrees Celsius for the lower heat, and bake for another 20 minutes. (This may vary depending on your oven)
The roasted bean bread is ready. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and looks beautiful.
