Steps to Make Rose and Longan Congee
Prepare all ingredients.
Wash fresh rose petals and soak for 30 minutes.
Mix two types of rice, wash and soak for 30 minutes.
Take a clay pot, add appropriate amount of water, put in rose buds, boil over medium heat, and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
Remove the rose buds.
Add glutinous rice and boil over medium heat.
Add half a spoonful of vegetable oil and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
Add goji berries.
Remove the shells and cores of the longan, and put them in the congee pot.
Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add rose petals.
Add rock sugar.
