Steps for making Sandwich Cake
Mix 300g flour, 10g sugar, 20g egg liquid, 3g yeast, 7g butter, and about 180g milk into a smooth dough. Do not let it form a film and put it in a low-temperature place for 10 to 15 hours.
I baked a strawberry-flavored cake randomly.
After the dough has been fermented at low temperature for more than 10 hours, tear it into small pieces and put it back into the bread machine. Add 22g egg liquid, 20g milk powder, 25g sugar, 2g yeast, and 4g salt and knead until smooth.
Add 7g butter to the dough and knead until smooth and elastic. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
After deflating the dough, as shown in the picture, cross it and wrap the cake.
Wait for the wrapped bread to ferment again.
Brush with egg liquid after fermentation. I also sprinkled some melon seeds on it.
Preheat the oven to 165℃ and bake for 15 minutes.
Cut into pieces and enjoy the combination of bread and cake.
