Steps for making Sesame Rose Brown Sugar Jelly
Prepare rose jam, brown sugar, sesame seeds, pea starch, and dried rose petals.
Put sesame seeds in a frying pan, fry over low heat until fragrant, and set aside to cool.
Put pea starch in a large bowl, add 60g of water and stir well.
Take a small pot, add 240g of water, and then add two tablespoons of rose jam.
Add a small piece of brown sugar.
Bring the water to a boil over medium heat and melt the brown sugar.
After the brown sugar has melted, slowly pour in the pea starch water while stirring to prevent the starch water from clumping.
Reduce the heat and cook the boiled rose brown sugar batter for another three minutes. Stir while cooking to ensure that the texture of the batter is consistent. The batter should be uniformly transparent when lifted.
Add the previously fried sesame seeds and mix well before turning off the heat.
Pour the rose brown sugar batter into an oiled container and let it cool and solidify.
After the rose brown sugar jelly has cooled, use a mold to shape it into your desired shape, or cut it into small pieces with a knife.
Take the petals off the dried rose petals and spread them on the bottom of a plate. Place the rose brown sugar jelly on top and sprinkle some rose petals on the surface for decoration. Serve to your loved one.
