Steps for Cooking Sha Cha Flavored Beef
Cut the beef into strips and put them in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp of Sha Cha Sauce, 1/2 tbsp of Oyster Sauce, 1/3 tsp of Pepper, and 1/4 tsp of Baking Soda. Mix well with your hands until the meat becomes sticky. If the meat is too dry, add 1-2 tbsp of water and mix until the water is absorbed. Then add 1/2 tbsp of corn starch and mix well. Finally, add vegetable oil or peanut oil and mix well to keep the meat moist.
Marinate the beef in a sealed container and refrigerate overnight to enhance the flavor.
Cut the ginger, garlic, scallion, red pepper, and green pepper into slices or circles and set aside.
Heat the pan over high heat, add oil, and then add ginger, garlic, scallion, and green pepper. Stir-fry until fragrant.
Add sweet peas and stir-fry until they are 50-60% cooked.
Push the sweet peas to one side of the pan and add the beef to the other side. Stir-fry the beef until it is cooked.
Mix the beef and sweet peas together and add 1/2 tsp of salt. Stir well.
Add a mixture of 1/2 tbsp of corn starch and 2 tbsp of water to the pan. Add red pepper and stir-fry until the sauce thickens. Serve.
