Steps to Make Shaguo Pidan Shourou Zhou (Clay Pot Porridge with Preserved Egg and Lean Pork)
Prepare the pork and preserved eggs.
Cut the pork into thin slices, add ginger, cornstarch, soy sauce, and a little oil, and mix well.
Peel the preserved eggs and cut them into small pieces, then mix them with the pork.
Wash the rice and add an appropriate amount of water to cook it into porridge using a rice cooker. Then pour the porridge into a clay pot.
When the porridge in the clay pot boils, add the preserved eggs and pork, and cook for another 5 minutes after boiling. During the cooking process, remember to stir constantly with a ladle to prevent the ingredients from sinking to the bottom.
After cooking, add an appropriate amount of salt. If you like green onion, you can add a little to each bowl, but do not put it in the pot, as it may affect the taste if it is not finished in one meal.
