Steps for Cooking Shiitake Mushroom and Tofu Stuffed Pork
Hollow out the tofu, wash and slice the fresh shiitake mushrooms, and prepare the ground pork.
Stuff the ground pork into the hollowed-out tofu.
Prepare the scallions and water starch.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the stuffed tofu.
Fry until golden brown, then flip and fry until golden brown on the other side. Remove from the pan.
Heat another pan with oil and stir-fry the shiitake mushrooms until fragrant.
Return the tofu to the pan, add the soy sauce and water, cover and simmer over medium heat until the flavors are absorbed.
After one minute, add the oyster sauce and transfer the tofu to a serving dish.
Thicken the sauce with water starch, add sesame oil, and turn off the heat.
Pour the sauce over the tofu, sprinkle with scallions, and serve.
