Steps to make Shuizhu Yu
Prepare the ingredients.
Cut the baby bok choy into large pieces, slice the pork, and chop the ginger, garlic, and chili.
Mix the pork with bean powder.
Heat oil in a wok and stir-fry the ginger, garlic, and chili.
Add Doubanjiang and stir-fry.
Add a bowl of water and bring to a boil to make red oil soup.
Add the baby bok choy and cook.
Cook until the vegetables are tender and the soup is flavorful.
Remove the vegetables from the soup.
Add the sliced pork to the soup and cook until done.
Add chicken essence to the soup and remove from heat.
Serve the pork and soup over the vegetables.
