Detailed Steps for Making Sichuan Xiu Yogurt
First, use boiling water to sterilize the yogurt maker’s liner and stirrer, soak for about 2 minutes, then dry them.
Pour in 500ml of milk, then add Sichuan Xiu bacterial powder and stir well.
Pour in the remaining 500ml of milk, continue stirring until well mixed.
After thorough mixing, cover with the lid. Ferment for 6-8 hours in spring and summer, and 10-12 hours in autumn and winter. Do not open the lid during fermentation. When the surface is smooth like tofu pudding, it is ready. Refrigerate for about two hours before consuming.
Add honey, blueberry jam, and cranberries to the yogurt, and it’s best to consume within three days.
